Ngo Thi Bong (b. 1952) beseeches her God for a better future.  She stands in front of the shrine in the home where she works as a maid.  Ngo used to be a street vendor, like many other Vietnamese refugees in the Philippines.  She quit her vending business because her customers failed to pay her.  She is seeking any type of work to survive and to feed her teenage son.
